Campaign Overview

A Foundation of Prayer

Since October 2025, more than 20 members of the FOR [ ] Capital Campaign Prayer Team have been gathering each month - both on-site at EAC and from home on the third Sunday - to pray faithfully for the building project and for the financial support needed to bring it to completion.

When we began in October, we were reminded of the promise that God “is able to do far more than all we ask or think.” We prayed with confidence, declaring, “God, there is nothing we can ask for, or even imagine asking for that You cannot provide and take care of.” (Ephesians 3:20).

Together, we have asked the Lord for safety, wisdom, and guidance throughout every stage of the project - for the architects, builders, and church leaders - as well as for the provision of finances, resources, and skilled workers at just the right time.

In the months that followed, we continued to recognize that “God is on the move, and adventure awaits us in 2026” (Joni). As cement was poured, we prayed with gratitude that God is our firm foundation. We also prayed that every person who calls Essex Alliance Church their home would be willing to help build this church - both spiritually and literally - and that, by God’s strength, we would finish this project well. Finishing well calls for consistent faith, obedience, and a deep reliance on Him.
